The FUTURES Annual Event 2024 brought nearly 100 artists and 20 curators to Zagreb from September 26th to 28th, hosted by the FUTURES member Organ Vida Festival.

The seven artists selected to explore the annual theme Ties That Bind are showcased in Zagreb till November 3, 2024. In 2025, the exhibition will travel to Fotograf Magazine in Prague and The Bienal Fotografia do Porto in Porto.

This year, ENERGY: Redistributing Power and Taming Consumption travels to Dublin and Utrecht. The exhibition showcases a diverse anthology of photography projects focusing on energy—a complex issue impacting everyone, both privately and publicly.

FUTURES and international photo agency Magnum Photos will be partnering for the next three years for the online course FUTURES: Learn with Magnum Photos. Through guest lectures by experts and well-known photographers, the study coaches, supports, and inspires emerging photographers.

HYBRIDS: Forging New Realities as Counter-Narrative will take place both offline and online from 10 September to 17 October 2021. The physical programme is organised at Melkweg Expo, in Amsterdam (NL), and combines exhibitions, talks, meetings, workshops and curatorial tours.
