The photographs in this work are made in 2020 and are a part of a larger, ongoing SKRÖLT project where I have photographed my surroundings every day for 4 years.
As soon as the pandemic arrived in Iceland my perception of my everyday became foreign, reality became unreal, days lost their color and seemed motionless. This strange mood, coupled with curiosity and my camera compelled me to rattle on and turn complex, even unknown thoughts and feelings into photographs.
The title SKRÖLT means I RATTLE ON, it is derived from my unconventional walking pattern.
